Bad Drivers
Bad driver stories abound; here’s my favorite:
On a Los Angeles freeway I once passed a man – – –

at night, in the dark

and with a trailer
just because he missed his exit.
Immigration
Immigration is not a new issue. Way back during the Revolutionary War, Francis Scott Key relied on farm labor already out in the pre-dawn dimness of a cold morning when he shouted through his prison ship window, “Jose can you see, in the dawn’s early light …”
